Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tailr, operated by TeeWiz d.o.o. ("Tailr", "we", "us"), a company organised under the laws of the Republic of Croatia, registered at [REGISTERED_ADDRESS]. By creating an account or using the extension you agree to these Terms.

1. What Tailr is

Tailr is a browser extension and backend service that tailors your existing CV to a specific job posting. You provide your CV; for a given posting, our backend sends your CV and the posting text to Anthropic's Claude API, which re-orders, re-weights, and re-phrases your own content for that role. We compile an ATS-checked PDF on our servers and return it.

Tailr does not write a CV from scratch and is instructed never to fabricate experience, employers, dates, or credentials. You remain the author of, and responsible for, your CV.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old.

3. Plans, trials, and billing

We offer:

Free trial (card required): the trial requires a valid payment method so it can convert automatically. We tell you the trial length and the conversion date before you start, and we email you before the trial ends.
Subscription (Tailr Pro): recurring access billed monthly (or as shown at checkout), including a defined quota of tailors per period.
Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) credits: one-time credit packs you can buy without a subscription.

Prices are shown at checkout in your currency, inclusive of applicable VAT where required. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card number.

4. Auto-renewal and one-click cancellation

We do not use dark patterns. Plainly:

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. We disclose this at checkout, not in fine print.
You can cancel in one click from https://tailr.us.com/settings at any time. No retention maze, no "call us to cancel", no hidden steps.
Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
We will email you a renewal reminder before charging where required by law, and a receipt after each charge.
PAYG credits are a one-time purchase and do not auto-renew.

Refunds and the EU right of withdrawal

If you are an EU/EEA consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. By starting to use a tailor/generation during that period you may consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the right of withdrawal may no longer apply to consumed credits. Unused, unconsumed purchases can be refunded on request to info@teewiz.ai within this window. We may also issue good-faith refunds at our discretion.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Tailr to fabricate, inflate, or misrepresent credentials, qualifications, employment history, or identity — yours or anyone else's. Tailr is built to sharpen true content, not to lie.
Submit content you do not have the right to use, or another person's CV without authorisation.
Attempt to extract our API keys, reverse the spend controls, scrape, or overload the service.
Resell, sublicense, or build a competing service on top of our outputs without permission.
Use the service for unlawful, infringing, or abusive purposes.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

6. Your content and ownership

You keep all rights to your CV and the tailored outputs we generate for you. You grant us the limited licence needed to process your content to provide the service (including sending it to the processors named in our Privacy Policy). We do not use your CV or job-posting content to train models, and Anthropic does not use it to train theirs (see Privacy Policy).

7. No guarantee of outcomes

Tailr is a tool, not a recruiter. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, or that any application will succeed. ATS systems vary; while we validate every PDF's text extraction with pdftotext, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every applicant-tracking system or that a posting is genuine. You are responsible for reviewing every tailored CV for accuracy before you send it.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, with reasonable notice for material changes affecting paid plans.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, and mandatory consumer rights).

Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost opportunities, lost job offers, or lost data.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Tailr and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or to comply with law. On termination we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, and EU law where applicable. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Croatia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights that entitle EU/EEA consumers to the protections of their country of residence. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes to paid plans, notify you in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
