Does it make things up?
No — that’s the whole point. Tailr only re-expresses what’s already on your CV and refuses to invent experience, skills, employers, dates, or numbers. The before/after diff shows you exactly what changed.
Will the PDF pass the ATS?
Every export is validated by extracting its text with pdftotext and checking that your name, every employer, and every section are machine-readable in order. We compile single-column LaTeX with proper Unicode mapping so the text layer is clean.
What happens to my CV and the job posting?
They’re sent to our backend, which uses Anthropic’s Claude to generate the tailored version. They are not used to train any model. See the Privacy Policy for retention and sub-processors.
How does billing work?
Onboarding and your first tailored CV are free. To download a CV or keep tailoring, you start a 7-day free trial (card required) that becomes Tailr Pro at €12/mo. A worse-value pay-as-you-go pack exists for occasional use. You can cancel anytime in your account settings.
Which job boards work?
LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Indeed, Glassdoor, Wellfound, and most company career pages. Tailr reads the posting from the tab you’re on when you click.

Do I need the extension to use it?
No. The extension is the fastest path, but you can paste a job link or the posting text on your Tailr dashboard and tailor from any browser, including your phone.
